VZDV Consulting Engineers are very active in the education sector on primary, secondary and tertiary facilities with state-of-the-art design tools to model naturally ventilated buildings, climate-based daylight modelling, thermal comfort and energy usage. VZDV continues to collaborate with the Department for Education on technical guidance and Climate Change Adaption. More recently the emphasis of design has shifted towards modern methods of construction (MMC) and achieving net zero carbon in operation (NZCiO) buildings.
